Participant Karren, 53, from Newcastle, shared her story with Take 5 Magazine.
The magazine is owned by Australia's leading multi-channel publisher, ARE Media, connecting with 6 in 10 Australian women.
Take 5 features real people telling each other their true stories of hope, tragedy, overcoming the odds, and finding love. As such, it was a beautiful fit for Karren's story, and the medium allowed her to tell it in her own words, allowing for an authentic representation of WoW, and hopefully will reach/inspire other women who might be struggling with their mental health.
